How to Lose Fat
In recent years there have been many questions about how to lose fat. The question about how to gain muscle has also been a popular topic. To be honest, you can’t do them at the same time (more like intervals). It’s difficult to gain muscle when you’re focus is on spending a lot more time on cardio programs.
However, there are other areas to these debates that must be addressed. First, is your diet. Many people believe that it’s important to take supplements, but in truth it’s not really necessary. Considering the confusion over the matter, we wanted to give you 5 tips on how to lose fat and gain muscle.
Work Hard on Your Diet
This is absolutely one of the most important features of any workout program. It doesn’t matter if you do 500 push-ups a day and run 10 miles, eating a bowl of ice cream at 11pm is only going to slow down your progression. Your body needs nutrients from healthy foods such as fruits and vegetables.
Learn what kinds of fats are good and bad
Make sure you pay attention to which food contain saturated fats. Not only will these make it harder to lose weight, they’ll also make it more difficult to gain muscle. You have to find unsaturated fats (the good kind), and add them to your daily regimen. You can find these fats in nuts, fish, and avocados.
Drop the Soda, Pick Up Water!
Drinking lots of soda is one of the worst things you can do to your system. Just by cutting out soda you will notice a difference on the scale. However, in order to maintain strong workouts you should drink a healthy supply of water throughout the day. We recommend drink anywhere between 2-8 liters of water depending on how much you workout each day.
Make Time for Exercise!
You don’t need to go to the gym everyday in order to lose weight. In fact, most people don’t have much time to even drive to the gym much less workout. So just do the little things to help you along. For instance, park farther away from the department store so you can get some sort of exercise in to burn those calories (steps instead of elevator, etc.).
Shifting your calories.
One of the best ways to gain muscle and burn the fat is shifting your calories. Doing this allows you to eat a better variety of foods as well as monitor your calories. Depending on what your caloric intake should be, you might want to consume 2500 one day and then 1500 the next. This will confuse your metabolism and help you continue burn fat.
Your decision…
There are literally dozens of tips that we could supply to help you lose fat but it’s up to you to do them. The decision is yours – keep doing what hasn’t been working or look for a better way. If you fail to do something today, do you think you ever will? Make it happen today!
