Lose your baby fat after pregnancy quickly by adding a post pregnancy workout. Luckily, there are many exercises out there that are not only effective in helping you lose the weight, but they’re also fun and exciting. The following three examples will help you supercharge your workout and you’ll be back into your pre-pregnancy clothes before you know it.

Drawing In: This is a great exercise for women who have just given birth because it helps them lose weight, helps their posture, makes their metabolism better and strengthens your core, abs and back all at once! In this exercise you need to lower yourself onto all fours and put your hands right under your shoulders. Pull your abs in and make sure that your neck and spine stay in a single line. Take a breath in through your nose and then, as you breathe back out, pull your belly button up and in–all while keeping your spine as straight as you can. Do this twelve times and repeat for three sets to get a good abdominal and core workout.

Bridge Squeeze: Start this exercise while lying on your back with your feet flat on the floor and your knees bent. Draw in your ab muscles while holding a pillow between your knees. Breathe in and then back out as you tighten your bottom muscles and left your hips to make your body form a straight line. After squeezing the pillow for two counts, lower your hips. Do three sets of ten reps of this.

Walking: Harvard commissioned a study in 2007 that proved that a half an hour of walking every day improves a woman’s likelihood of losing her post-pregnancy weight. The women who were participants in this study lost eleven pounds on average and most of them had reached their goals by the time their children had their first birthdays. Therefore, you need to go outside and get some fresh air! It doesn’t matter when you choose to walk, but if you are going to take your son or daughter with you then you need to make sure that the weather outside is agreeable for your baby.

Also, don’t forget to stay properly hydrated on your walk. Do this every day and you’ll lose that weight in no time. You will shed your baby weight faster if you can maintain this workout for three or more days per week and watching your diet closely. Keep it up and in just a few weeks you should be able to see great results, which should give you the motivation to continue until all of your pregnancy weight is gone.
